Our Story
Bluewater CAS was originally founded in 1984 as Walden Chemical. With roots in janitorial and commercial supplies, company founder Chock Walden identified a niche in an underserved market – commercial swimming pools. As technologies improved and the business grew, Bluewater CAS was formed in 2002 and began to focus exclusively on aquatic services. With offices in Little Rock and Knoxville, Bluewater CAS continues to expand its reach and services to over 400 customers in 10 states.
As with most startup companies, Aqua-Rec humbly began in a garage. In 1987, Roger Lisenbey transitioned his career from municipal parks and rec management to commercial pools and has never looked back. With a commitment to service and a promise to customers to never outgrow them, Roger created an organization with unparalleled service and commitment to its customers.
Fast forward to 2020 and Aqua-Rec now has 3 offices in the state of Texas and offer commercial aquatic solutions to customers in Texas, Louisiana, & New Mexico In 2023, two new faces entered into the role of owners & partners of both Bluewater CAS & Aqua-Rec. After many years of working together in the industry, Phil Helms & Aaron Craig entered into partnership with both Chock and Roger. This partnership created a duo of companies with services unmatched in the industry. While operating independently, Bluewater CAS and Aqua-Rec share not only years of experience, but collaborate on projects and service customers in both of their service areas.
